Dr. Ji Han Pain Management: An Introduction

Flushing, New York’s Dr. Ji Han has been practicing medicine for what he says is over 20 years, and he specializes in pain treatment. After finishing his studies at UAB in 2002, he went on to get his degree. He has ties to both Long Island Jewish Forest Hills and Flushing Hospital Medical Centre.

Examining, treating, and rehabilitating those who suffer from pain is the focus of pain medicine, as is the prevention of pain. From pain as an indicator of illness to depression as the underlying cause, pain medicine practitioners address a wide range of pain issues via a holistic lens.

Dr. Han asserts that he serves as a consultant to other doctors. In many cases, however, he serves as the patient’s primary care physician and is responsible for a wide range of medical tasks, including but not limited to diagnosing and treating conditions, writing prescriptions, directing interdisciplinary teams, consulting with other medical professionals, and performing pain relief procedures.

With the assistance of Programme Analyst Mariel Filtz, the Office of Audit Services and the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General worked together to secure this settlement. Senior Counsels David Traskey and Gregory Becker were the individuals who were responsible for representing the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General.

What do Patients Have to Say About the Pain Management Provided by Dr. Ji Han?

Their only concern is financial gain

One of the patients related her experience, indicating that she was handled poorly, that the front desk staff never pleasantly answered her queries, and that she was always treated aggressively. As far as the patient is concerned, they are not knowledgeable on how to handle patients.

According to her statement, she would never recommend Dr. Ji Han to anybody else. Additionally, she said that while she was handling papers, she was besieged by staff members to complete the signature of the doctor, but the doctor disregarded her and left to have a smoke break. No one cares about people, not even the doctor and his staff; the only thing that matters to them is money.

Terrible Employees

An additional client shared her story about Dr. Ji Han’s Pain Management. She said she made an appointment one month in advance and called a week before to confirm that they would take her new insurance.

The patient was treated rudely by the receptionist, who instructed her to contact again once she had her date of birth. If the appointment scheduler accidentally scheduled the delivery date on the wrong day, the patient assured the receptionist that it was none of her business. The receptionist displayed poor customer service instead of helping the patient.

Additionally, the patient felt the receptionist was rude to them. She was left to wait for almost an hour as if it were intentional. Lastly, the patient complained about the awful experience and the unfriendly personnel. This clinic has lost its business.

The same incident occurred to another patient, who also complained about the staff’s tremendous lack of professionalism and rudeness. They are more interested in gossiping than in helping the patients. A visit to Dr. Ji Han of Ji Han Pain Management should be avoided, he said.

Fall Victims of Dr. Ji Han’s Pain Management Scam?

Dr. Ji Han’s patients have complained that they were misled into thinking they would have a one-on-one session when in fact they were only able to speak with a nurse or someone on the other end of a phone. Additionally, he said that he had never seen a facility like this before, where the personnel made him take several insurance plans.

Personalistic

As a result of the terrible experience he had with Dr. Ji Han, a patient noted that even suggesting that he give him one star is problematic for him. Because of the tremendous discomfort he was experiencing in his back, he went to see Dr. Ji Han. On the other hand, he is a narcissist who is obsessed with himself and boasts, “I am the best pain specialist around right now!”

It came after the patient had been scheduled for the surgery without anybody introducing themselves, verifying that he was being scheduled for the proper treatment, and treating him more like an object than a human being.

To top it all off, they insisted he lay on a sheet covered with blood! This sterile procedure is the worst he has ever seen.

He is now contemplating whether to lodge a formal complaint with the Department of Health on the appalling treatment he endured. In addition to calling for Dr. Ji Han’s license to be revoked, the patient said that not even his greatest enemy would get his recommendation.

Conclusion

The patients of Dr. Ji Han Pain Management have accused him of acting in an unethical and unprofessional manner. Despite several treatments and aggressive conduct from Dr. Han and his team, patients have expressed dissatisfaction with their health. The absence of safe procedures during operations is another source of worry that might endanger patients’ health.

Critically, these assertions demonstrate a lack of understanding about patient safety and care. Therefore, Dr. Han and his practice may need more investigation from regulatory bodies. Patients are encouraged to look for other healthcare professionals that prioritize their health and ethical behavior.
